TIG Welder

Dutton Recruitment (Sheffield Engineering) are recruiting:
We are looking for TIG Welders for permanent positions based with our client in Sheffield. Immediate start available (subject to interview and weld test) Salary is £36,513.74 per annum (inclusive of shift allowance) This will be working at 2 shift rotation morning shift Monday to Thursday - 6am
-2pm & 6am
-11am on Friday, Afternoon shift Monday to Thursday 2pm
-10pm & Friday 11am - 4pm. This position does have the possibility to go on to a 3 shift rotation Days, Afternoons and Nights. Previous experience working on fine gauge stainless steel and be able to weld 0.8mm to 1.2mm thickness Duties will include: TIG welding stainless steel and other metals. Producing high-quality, neat and consistent welds. Reading and working from engineering drawings.

Preparing materials and components for welding. Setting up and operating TIG welding equipment. Checking finished work to ensure it meets the required quality standards. Carrying out general fabrication duties where required. Maintaining a clean and safe working environment. Working to production schedules and meeting required deadlines.

The Ideal Candidate The successful candidate will ideally have:
Previous experience working as a TIG Welder within a manufacturing or engineering environment. Previous experience working on fine gauge stainless steel and be able to weld 0.8mm to 1.2mm thickness Strong TIG welding experience, particularly on stainless steel . The ability to read and understand engineering drawings. Good attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work. The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
