Fettler

We currently require a Fettler to work on castings to achieve the quality standard required by both Paralloy Group and the Customers.

• To Fettle/Excavate castings to the Quality Standard required by customer and Paralloy Quality Procedures.
• To be as cost effective and efficient as possible.
• To work to Paralloy Health & Safety Work Rules.
• To adhere to Paralloy Contract of Employment.
• To be able to use both Hi Cycles and air grinding tools, Training will be given in the event of no experience in this field.
• To Fettle castings to profile and excavate casting defects in preparation for welding
• To remove any defects and fettle to profile
• To work safely within the workplace
• To be competent in driving overhead cranes, training will be given to the right candidate if required.
• To work closely with other members of Fettling/Welding/Inspection teams
• To work to provided production plans laid out by management

• Previous Fettling Experience
• Manual Handling experience
• Abrasive Wheel experience
• Slinging experience
• Knowledge of continuous improvement.
• Basic understanding of quality issues
• Basic knowledge of health and safety within the workplace
