We’re looking for a creative, organised and platform-savvy Social Media Executive to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll help bring our clients’ brands to life across Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok, Linked In, X and Bluesky. You’ll turn social strategy into engaging content, build online communities and track performance to ensure every post has purpose.

What the role involves

In this role, you will help manage and grow client accounts day to day across key social platforms.

Content creation & publishing
  • Plan, create and publish posts including images, video, Stories, Reels and captions
  • Tailor content to each platform’s features, audience and best practices
  • Maintain a content calendar and schedule posts for optimal times
  • Ensure a steady flow of consistent, on-brand content across all channels
  • Coordinate with designers, copywriters and marketing managers to keep messaging aligned with wider brand and campaign goals
Community management
  • Monitor comments, DMs and mentions across multiple platforms
  • Engage with followers in a timely, helpful and brand-appropriate way
  • Escalate customer or client issues where needed
  • Support in building active online communities for each client
  • Help execute social media campaigns around launches, seasonal pushes and promotional activity
  • Track trends, awareness days and relevant cultural moments to suggest creative ideas
  • Contribute to brainstorming sessions and support the wider team with ideation
  • Work closely with account managers to ensure social content aligns with marketing goals
Reporting & analytics
  • Pull basic analytics including reach, impressions, engagement, clicks and follower growth
  • Produce regular performance reports with actionable recommendations
  • Highlight what’s working, what isn’t and where content can improve
  • Support paid social activity by uploading assets, completing QA checks and monitoring performance

This is a permanent full-time position (40 hours per week) and requires a minimum of 3 days per week from our office in central Sheffield. (You need to be legally allowed to work in the UK.)

What skills you’ll need

To excel in this role, you will need:

  • Strong writing skills for short-form, attention-grabbing social copy
  • Understanding of platform features, content formats and best practices across Instagram, Tik Tok, Facebook, Linked In, X and Bluesky
  • Basic image/video editing
  • Excellent organisation and attention to detail, especially around calendars and deadlines
  • Confidence working with analytics data to spot trends and opportunities
  • Ability to adapt tone of voice for different industries and audiences
  • Creative thinker with the ability to turn ideas into polished content
  • Collaborative mindset and willingness to work closely with the wider team
