We are seeking a highly capable and strategic Group Marketing Manager to lead and coordinate all group-level marketing activity across the SCIRIS Group. This role plays a central part in shaping how the Group presents itself internally and externally, ensuring a cohesive, high-quality brand experience across all agencies.
The Group Marketing Manager will have ownership of communications, content planning, brand consistency, and event delivery, while providing direct line management and strategic direction to the Social Media Manager. The role requires a confident self-starter with strong judgement, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to balance central governance with practical support for agency teams.
This position offers significant scope to influence Group-wide visibility, engagement, and reputation, working closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to deliver clear, compelling and well-governed marketing activity.
Key Responsibilities Group Communications Leadership- Develop and deliver the Group’s marketing and communications strategy, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and leadership priorities.
- Own the content pipeline for group announcements, newsletters, leadership communications, recruitment marketing and thought leadership activity.
- Maintain consistency of tone, messaging and visual identity across all agencies, ensuring adherence to SCIRIS brand standards.
- Build strong working relationships with agency Heads of Marketing and Operations to coordinate communication activity and ensure clarity of roles between central and local delivery.
- Provide agencies with templates, guidance and best practice to support local events and communications while maintaining brand integrity.
- Line manage the Social Media Manager, providing clear strategic direction, coaching, and performance oversight.
- Review and approve the social media content calendar, ensuring alignment with Group communications priorities and brand guidelines.
- Use analytics and performance insights to continuously improve reach, engagement and content quality across Linked In and other relevant platforms.
- Maintain a central, well-governed repository of marketing assets, including reusable content, brand materials, boiler plates and visual templates.
- Lead the development of presentations, brochures, case studies and digital materials for leadership teams, business development, recruitment and internal use.
- Ensure all content accurately reflects SCIRIS capabilities, culture and value proposition, with a consistent and professional standard of execution.
- Lead the planning and delivery of all Group-level events, including leadership offsites, employee engagement events, external conferences, sponsored events and client-facing activities.
- Coordinate Group-wide communications, including CEO updates, internal campaigns and employee engagement initiatives.
- Work closely with HR and Operations to support initiatives such as referral programmes, DEI communications, onboarding materials and policy rollouts.
- Track and report on KPIs across communications, social media and events activity, providing regular updates to the CEO and senior leadership.
- Introduce clear processes, templates and governance frameworks to improve consistency and efficiency in communications and event management across the Group.
- Monitor emerging tools, platforms and channels, making informed recommendations to enhance marketing effectiveness and operational maturity.
- Proven experience in a marketing management, communications or brand leadership role, ideally within healthcare, life sciences or a professional services environment.
- Strong content creation skills with excellent editorial judgement and attention to detail.
- Demonstrable experience planning and delivering events of varying scale and complexity.
- Confidence as a people manager, with the ability to guide, support and develop junior team members.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, able to operate effectively across multiple agencies and business units.
- A strong understanding of digital and social channels, particularly Linked In.
- Exceptional organisation and prioritisation skills, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects to a high standard.
Degree in Marketing, Communications or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
Professional marketing qualifications (e.g. CIM) are advantageous but not essential.
