Associate Director - Sports PR
Hybrid working - 3 days a week in the office
If you’ve got leading agency experience or have worked at a top rights holder or brand in the sports world, we want to hear from you. As Associate Director you’ll be stepping into a role where you can oversee multiple client accounts, mentor a talented team, and play a key part in shaping strategies across the sports ecosystem.
What you’ll bring as an Associate Director:
- Proven ability to manage multiple accounts and teams simultaneously
- Be creatively minded
- Strong track record in building and growing client relationships
- New business savvy, including pitching and generating fresh opportunities
- Excellent mentorship skills – you know how to keep your team happy, motivated, and developing
- A broad understanding of the sports landscape – rights-holders, governing bodies, broadcasters, competitions, and commercial partnerships
What you’ll do:
- Deliver exceptional service across client accounts and lead high-quality campaigns
- Plan strategically around sporting calendars, key events, and commercial opportunities
- Build and maintain senior-level relationships across the sports ecosystem
- Oversee budgets, reporting, and financial planning
- Lead media, influencer, and social strategies to maximise impact
- Champion creativity, brainstorms, and innovative responses to client briefs
- Foster a positive, high-performing agency culture while supporting your team’s growth
- Lead new business initiatives – from pitch creation to presenting and winning new clients
