The role is based at the Crisis Brent Skylight in Harlesden, some local travel may be required.
Crisis is the national charity for people experiencing homelessness. We have embarked on our new 10-year strategy for ending homelessness. We know it is not inevitable. We know together we can end it.
About the roleWe are looking for an experienced individual who is passionate and knowledgeable about leading the drive for evidence‑led change in local systems for some of the most excluded members of our community and to drive forward the delivery of Built for Zero in Brent. The role requires excellent leadership skills to bring together a range of stakeholders to focus on the challenges, provide solutions to longstanding barriers and problems and inspire positivity and resilience.
The role will be line managed by Crisis but embedded within Brent Council.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Experience of achieving system change through partnership, collaboration and use of data
- Ability to identify key barriers to progress and problem solve sensitively and collaboratively, maintaining strong and positive working relationships
- Experience or in depth understanding of housing/ homelessness, adult social care, health, criminal justice, or other relevant sectors, with an ability to work across boundaries
- Excellent self‑management and project management skills and an ability to monitor progress and achieve deadlines and outcomes
