Job DescriptionThe Communications & Partnerships Officer plays a key supporting role within the Foundation, helping to enhance our visibility, strengthen relationships with partners, and ensure our strategy is effectively communicated internally and externally.
About The Spectris FoundationThe Spectris Foundation is a UK-registered charitable incorporated organisation (CIO) created in 2021 with a £15m endowment from Spectris. We exist to advance STEM education globally, removing barriers and nurturing talent so that learners of all backgrounds can access high-quality, meaningful STEM opportunities. Our 2026–2031 strategy sets an ambitious direction—centred on impact, inclusion, long-term partnerships and strengthening the ecosystem for STEM learning.
We support charitable organisations through grant‑making, strategic partnerships, and a funder plus approach that adds value beyond grants. Our work spans multiple countries where Spectris operates and beyond, with a strong commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
You’ll be joining a small, agile, and ambitious team where collaboration, creativity, and ownership are essential.
The RoleThe Communications & Partnerships Officer plays a key supporting role within the Foundation, helping to enhance our visibility, strengthen relationships with partners, and ensure our strategy is effectively communicated internally and externally. You will support the development and delivery of communications, contribute to the management of our charitable partnerships, and work closely with the Foundation Director on implementing our strategic priorities.
The role is ideal for a proactive, highly organised communicator who is comfortable balancing operational tasks with opportunities to contribute to strategic projects.
