Registered Nurse - Urgent Care Centre - INTERNAL

Job Overview

We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated Staff Nurses to join our expanding Urgent Care Centre (UCC) at Prince Philip Hospital. The UCC operates 7‑day, 12‑hour shifts and provides high‑quality care for individuals presenting with urgent but non‑life‑threatening conditions. We will only accept applications from staff currently employed by Hywel Dda University Health Board.

• Deliver nursing care across all areas of the UCC.
• Assist in the management of patient flow, including triage and assessment.
• Provide support to multidisciplinary teams during 7‑day service coverage.
• Maintain accurate patient records and contribute to continuous improvement of UCC processes.
• Offer support and education to patients and families regarding care plans.

• Current NMC Registration.
• Evidence of ongoing professional development.
• Experience in an acute care setting preferred.
• Experience with triage desirable.
• Strong communication skills in English;
  Welsh language skills are desirable.

Various part‑time hours are available within the UCC shift pattern. Interviews will be held on 28/07/2026.
