Senior Intake QA

Verify required documentation and supporting information against specifications, purchase orders. Perform quality inspections on incoming raw materials, ingredients and packaging. ? Identify errors, or inconsistencies and coordinate corrections. ? Escalate complex or high-risk issues to appropriate teams. ? Maintain accurate records of QA findings and trends. Check product condition, labelling, packaging Integrity/ pallets / crates, temperature and shelf life. ?

Monitor quality metrics and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. ? Provide feedback and coaching to intake staff where appropriate. ? Ensure compliance with Food Safety regulatory, contractual, and company requirements. ? Assist with process documentation and updates to QA procedures. Collect and assess samples for testing as required. Identify and quarantine non-conforming materials. Raise non conformance reports and communicate issues to suppliers.

Assist with investigations and corrective actions. Monitor/trend supplier performance and reoccurring quality issues. Conduct other QA duties as when necessary i.e. GMP Audits/ Label checks. Required Skills & Experience ? Previous experience in food manufacturing, food quality assurance or food safety role. ? Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Strong attention to detail and record keeping skills. ? Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

? Ability to work with high volumes of information while maintaining quality standards. ? Proficiency with Microsoft Office. ? Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. ? Ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications ? Experience in Food Industry- within QA/ Technical/Production Supervisory. ? Knowledge of QA methodologies and audit processes. ? Experience using quality monitoring tools and reporting systems. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) ? Quality accuracy rate. ? Number of intake errors identified and prevented. ? Process improvement contributions.
