Bridgeman Recruitment Services are currently recruiting for an experienced Tenant Liaison Officer to join a long-term social housing and refurbishment programme in Sheffield.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for stable, long-term work, with the project expected to run for approximately 5 years.

The Role

You will act as the main point of contact between the contractor, site teams, housing association and tenants throughout the programme of works.

Responsibilities
  • Liaising with tenants before, during and after works are completed.
  • Carrying out pre-start and pre-entry visits.
  • Explaining planned works, timescales and potential disruption to residents.
  • Arranging access and appointments with tenants.
  • Dealing with tenant queries, concerns and complaints professionally.
  • Identifying vulnerable residents and escalating any concerns where appropriate.
  • Maintaining accurate records of tenant contact and appointments.
  • Working closely with Site Managers, Project Managers and contractors.
  • Monitoring customer satisfaction and gathering feedback.
  • Attending resident meetings and community engagement events where required.
  • Supporting the site team in resolving issues that could delay the programme.
Requirements
  • Previous experience as a Tenant Liaison Officer, Resident Liaison Officer or Customer Liaison Officer.
  • Experience with in social housing, planned maintenance, refurbishment or construction is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Confident dealing with tenants and resolving difficult or sensitive situations.
  • Strong organisational and administration skills.
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
  • Full UK driving licence is desirable.
