Research Fellow

Research Fellow (fixed term for 36 months) – College of Health Wellbeing & Life Science. Grade 7 – £39,906 to £44,746 per annum (depends on experience).

We are looking for a Research Fellow to lead innovative research focused on children’s growth, health and wellbeing at the Advanced Wellbeing Research Centre (AWRC), Sheffield.

• Design and deliver studies involving families, schools and partners, using anthropometry, imaging and data analysis.
• Collaborate with researchers and stakeholders to translate findings into real‑world impact.
• Ensure research methods and outputs are accessible, inclusive and reflect diverse communities.

• Passion for child health research and continuous learning.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in an interdisciplinary environment.
• Experience with data collection and analysis may be advantageous.

• Full‑time, 36‑month fixed term based in Sheffield.
