Overview
- Join a collaborative economics team
- Use evidence and analysis to deepen understanding of smaller business finance and the impact of the Bank’s work
- Support research and contribute insight
- Help produce outputs that inform decision-making internally and externally
- Analyze data and develop clear written insights
- Create visualisations and contribute to appraisal, evaluation, and impact work
- Work across varied projects producing briefings and research while building strong relationships
- Demonstrable experience of applying microeconomics to real issues
- Ability to choose suitable data and methods for analysis
- Capability to produce analysis that stands up to scrutiny
- Skill in explaining findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences
- Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Experience with econometric, mapping, or statistical packages (advantageous)
- Experience of working with complex information
- Ability to communicate insight in a structured way
- Contributing positively within a team
- Understanding of the Bank’s purpose and policy environment (valuable)
- A degree is essential for this role
