This post will suit you if you enjoy:
Collaborating with a range of staff across a large organisation. Sourcing, analysing and assessing information, both qualitative and quantitative. Documenting and communicating your work, both in writing and verbally. Thinking critically and fairly about the evaluation work that you undertake.

In this newly‑created role, you would be working in a team to evaluate and communicate how effective our investments have been in supporting our Research and Innovation community of both staff and students. Your work would inform senior university decision makers, provide evidence we can use to demonstrate our good work to funders and underpin our submissions to the UK government's assessments of universities.

You don't need to have experience of working at a university; more important are the experience you would bring of critically evaluating information, working successfully with a diverse range of people and effectively communicating your work.

You would be part of a friendly and supportive team of eight people, as part of the central Research, Partnerships & Innovation professional services department. We are known for the tailored and expert support we offer across this large research-intensive University with an excellent international reputation. You will work with colleagues across the University and so you would need spend a minimum of 50% of your time working on campus.

The University of Sheffield is a remarkable place to work. Our people are at the heart of everything we do. Their diverse backgrounds, abilities and beliefs make Sheffield a world-class university.

We offer a fantastic range of benefits including a highly competitive annual leave entitlement (with the ability to purchase more), a generous pensions scheme, flexible working opportunities, a commitment to your development and wellbeing, a wide range of retail discounts, and much more.
