About the Job
We’re looking for a New Business Development Inside Sales Representative to be the first point of contact for potential clients and help drive the growth of ITI Group.

- Follow up on inbound marketing leads to assess their potential and qualify them as sales‑ready leads for the sales team.
- Engage in thoughtful conversations with prospects, helping them understand the value of ITI’s solutions and positioning us as a trusted partner.
- Proactively reach out to leads generated through marketing efforts, focusing on building relationships and discovering business needs.
- Work closely with Account Managers and other sales personnel to ensure smooth transition of qualified leads and follow‑up for effective conversion.
- Track lead interactions, update CRM systems, and manage sales data to keep lead information up‑to‑date and organized.
- Stay informed about industry trends and customer needs to better position ITI’s products and solutions.
- Maintain a strong pipeline of leads, ensuring consistent follow‑up and nurturing efforts to meet sales goals.
- Regularly report on lead conversion rates, activities, and outcomes to management to ensure alignment with sales targets and objectives.
- Visit customers at least once per month with ACMs to develop sales skills by observing ACMs.
- Complete all relevant training, both in‑house and external, as required.
- Follow all health and safety regulations, procedures, and protocols.
- Assist with any other duties reasonably requested and in line with the role’s requirements.
- 1–3 years in sales, sales development, or a customer‑facing role with a focus on lead qualification or sales support. Experience in industrial automation, technology, or B2B sales is a plus.
- A strong desire to meet and exceed sales targets, with the ability to identify and act on sales opportunities.
- General understanding of industrial automation or technology, with a willingness to learn and communicate technical solutions to clients.
- GCSE Grades 9 to 4 in Maths and English.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and engage prospects over the phone and email.
- Organisational skills: ability to prioritise tasks, manage time effectively, and maintain a structured approach to lead follow‑up.
- Problem‑solving: strong ability to listen to prospects’ needs and offer value‑driven solutions that align with ITI’s capabilities.
