Job Title: International Groups New Business – Strategic Accounts Executive
Department: Sales
Location: London/Sheffield
Working Pattern: Hybrid, includes 3 days each week in the office
Contract Type: Full time, permanent
Reporting to: International Groups New Business – Group Sales Director

Salary: up to £60,000 base salary plus £40,000 OTE

Role Overview

Tes is seeking an energetic Strategic Accounts Executive to secure high‑value new customers and generate substantial cross‑sell opportunities within existing accounts. This is an autonomous, individual‑contributor role requiring strong enterprise sales experience and end‑to‑end mastery of the sales cycle — from prospecting to closing senior‑level deals.

You will also play a key role in long‑term strategic sales planning, maintaining a healthy pipeline, and contributing to wider sales team development through best‑practice sharing and mentoring.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the full sales cycle independently, from lead generation to closing high‑value deals.
  • Deliver Tes’s sales strategy to secure new business and cross‑sell within existing accounts.
  • Respond to and manage high‑value tenders, ensuring alignment to customer needs and Tes’s value proposition.
2. Strategic Planning & Pipeline Management
  • Build and execute mid‑to‑long‑term sales plans that exceed revenue targets.
  • Maintain a strong, proactive pipeline through networking, outreach, and account development.
  • Continuously analyse pipeline health and sales metrics to drive consistent performance.
3. Customer Relationship Management
  • Build trusted relationships with key senior stakeholders.
  • Understand customer needs and provide tailored solutions that drive satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Collaborate closely with account teams to support post‑sales activity and maintain long‑term relationships.
4. Revenue Growth
  • Consistently exceed individual revenue targets.
  • Identify opportunities to up‑sell and cross‑sell within large customer portfolios.
  • Maintain awareness of product updates, market trends, and customer insights.
5. Sales Best Practice & Coaching
  • Mentor and support less experienced colleagues, sharing best practices and sales expertise.
  • Lead by example in professionalism, sales excellence, and customer engagement.
  • Support the creation and delivery of training resources to uplift team capability.
6. Market Analysis & Reporting
  • Conduct ongoing market analysis to identify emerging opportunities.
  • Provide regular sales forecasts and reporting to the Senior Enterprise Sales Director.
  • Use data‑driven insights to refine sales tactics and resolve challenges proactively.
What Will You Need to Succeed?

Experience & Requirements
  • Background in enterprise‑level B2B software or SaaS sales.
  • Proven record of securing high‑value deals and exceeding sales targets.
  • Ability to manage the full sales cycle independently.
  • Strong strategic planning and long‑term pipeline management experience.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder‑management skills.
  • Experience with CRM platforms (Salesforce highly desirable).
  • Experience with high‑value tenders (desirable).
  • Analytical and data‑driven approach.
  • Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, evolving environment.
  • Willingness to travel when needed.
