Position: Area Sales Manager (Flooring Manufacturer)

£40k - £46k plus a monthly commission scheme worth an additional £12k per annum.

Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a driven and ambitious Area Sales Manager to join a growing business. You’ll be responsible for developing and managing sales across the North East and Yorkshire
, focusing on both independent flooring retailers and contractors
.

Responsibilities
  • Proactively identify and secure new business opportunities.
  • Build and nurture relationships with existing customers to maximise sales potential.
  • Manage and grow a portfolio of key accounts, particularly within West & South Yorkshire.
  • Promote the company’s full range of flooring products and accessories.
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure outstanding service delivery.

We’re looking for a confident, proactive, and results-driven salesperson. While experience in the flooring industry or a related product area would be an advantage, it is not essential. What matters most is your enthusiasm, energy, and attitude.

Qualifications
  • A strong track record in field sales, account management, or business development.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • A proactive, self-motivated approach with the ability to manage your own territory.
  • A humble, smart, and professional manner.
  • A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel throughout the region.
