Smart On is a technology company specializing in EPOS, ERP, and CRM solutions for hospitality, retail, and food & drink businesses. Unlike many providers, we develop and own our own software platform, allowing us to deliver a fully integrated solution that helps businesses streamline operations, improve efficiency, and gain greater control over their day-to-day activities. As we continue to expand across the UK, we are looking for an ambitious B2B Sales Executive to develop new business opportunities across Sheffield and the surrounding region.

The Role

This is a field-based B2B sales position focused on acquiring new customers and building long‑term commercial relationships. You will be responsible for identifying opportunities, meeting business owners, demonstrating our solutions, and managing the sales process from initial contact through to signed agreement and successful installation. The role combines self‑generated business development, networking, referrals, inbound inquiries, and company‑generated leads. You will have the autonomy to manage your own territory while being supported by an experienced technical, installation, and customer success team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Generate and develop new business opportunities across hospitality, retail, and food & drink sectors
  • Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline
  • Conduct on‑site and remote product demonstrations
  • Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable hardware and software solutions
  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to contract completion
  • Develop relationships with business owners and decision‑makers
  • Work closely with installation and support teams to ensure a smooth customer experience
  • Provide market feedback and competitor insights
  • Consistently achieve and exceed sales targets
Requirements
  • Previous B2B sales experience
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills
  • Self‑motivated with the ability to work independently
  • Organized and capable of managing your own territory and sales pipeline
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Based in or around Sheffield
  • Excellent English speaking and writing skills
