Sheffield | £28,000 to £30,000 Basic - Year 1 OTE £35,000

Overview

Ranson Barnes Recruitment is partnering with a thriving Sheffield‑based business that is expanding rapidly. They are looking to recruit a driven and ambitious Sales Account Manager for their commercial team.

The Role

Reporting directly to the Sales Director, you will drive business growth across the UK, identify new opportunities, develop client relationships, and grow existing accounts.

Your Responsibilities Will Include
  • Generating and qualifying new business opportunities through market research, networking, CRM systems, and marketing tools
  • Building strong relationships with prospective and existing clients
  • Understanding customer challenges and delivering tailored solutions
  • Managing and developing key accounts to maximise revenue and retention
  • Conducting client meetings and visits when required
  • Preparing proposals, quotations, and maintaining accurate CRM records
  • Working closely with internal teams to deliver an exceptional customer experience
  • Acting as a professional ambassador for the business at all times

Essential Requirements
  • Previous experience in sales, business development, or account management
  • Strong IT skills
  • Excellent communication and relationship‑building abilities
  • Minimum of 5 GCSEs (A‑C) or equivalent
Desirable
  • Degree educated or equivalent qualification
Salary and Benefits
  • £26,000 - £28,000 basic salary
