We are looking for a dynamic Regional Specification Manager to help our client expand their presence in the commercial lighting sector and drive sustainable growth. The ideal candidate will have a understanding of lighting in the office fit out sector or related built‑environment industries, and be skilled in building lasting client relationships while identifying new opportunities for high‑quality lighting solutions.
This role is for an allocation of 50% of your time, equivalent to 80 hours per month.
Responsibilities- Identify and secure new business opportunities across North England, with a focus on commercial lighting and office fit out projects.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with consulting engineers, interior designers and contractors to expand market presence.
- Additionally, grow relationships with the company’s existing consulting engineers, interior designers and contractor clients in the South of England.
- Promote client’s bespoke lighting solutions as well as the carbon carful™ initiative highlighting their innovation, energy efficiency, and design impact.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless project delivery and client satisfaction.
- Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and networking opportunities to strengthen brand visibility.
- Provide regular reports on pipeline development, client engagement, and revenue growth targets.
- Proven experience in business development or sales within lighting, interior design, or related industries.
- Strong client network in North England, ideally with engineering consultants, architects, designers, or contractors.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Track record of meeting revenue targets and driving growth.
- Self‑motivated, results‑oriented, and comfortable with regional travel.
