Overview
As one of two Critical National Infrastructure and Systems (CNIS) Senior Advisors you will provide strategic leadership across physical, personnel, cyber and supply chain security, ensuring compliance with national security obligations, resilience and risk management.
Threat Intelligence & Risk Senior Advisor- Receive and triage threat briefings (government/sector) and set/communicate posture levels.
- Run horizon scanning and produce periodic threat/risk reports for internal stakeholders.
- Own risk methodology, scoring and tolerances to ensure consistent application across the business.
- Coordinate risk prioritisation and remediation plans within the business.
- Build and maintain effective partnerships with internal and external organisations to jointly manage risks.
- Demonstrate ability to work with senior leadership, manage multiple priorities and handle competing demands.
- Showcase stakeholder management, clear communication and engagement skills.
- Conditional requirement: achieve Developed Vetting (DV) level of National Security Vetting.
- Draft and update CNIS policies and standards; maintain control framework and document library.
- Map standards to the asset lifecycle (design, build, operate and decommission), integrating with asset management policies and procedures.
- Define control assurance methods and evidence requirements; conduct annual policy reviews.
- Conduct gap analyses and drive corrective actions with the business.
You will be part of a small, dedicated team focused on protecting and empowering the organisation.
Experience and Skills- 7+ years in security governance or risk/threat intelligence with a comprehensive understanding of physical, personnel, cyber and operational technology.
- Proven leadership skills to achieve outcomes, promote partnership, influence and inspire others.
- Strong stakeholder management, clear communication and engagement capabilities.
- Experience building effective partnerships with internal and external organisations.
- All candidates must undergo training and be prepared to participate in incident response duties when required.
- Conditional requirement:
Developed Vetting (DV) level of National Security Vetting.
