Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer
Location:
Sheffield
Salary:
Up to £52,000 (DOE)
Hours:
40 hours | 3 shift pattern | (Mornings, Afters & Nights)
Key Responsibilities:
* Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on heavy machinery and equipment
* Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic faults
* Read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and technical manuals
* Support machine installations, commissioning, and upgrades
* Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation
* Liaise with production teams to minimise downtime and improve machine reliability
Ideal Candidate:
* Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer within a manufacturing environment
* Competence in both electrical and mechanical maintenance
* Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics
* Experience maintaining, repairing and servicing heavy equipment and machinery
Qualifications:
* Apprenticeship, NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering (desirable)
* Electrical qualification (e.g. 18th Edition) is advantageous
