This is a full-time, on‑site role for a Decorator based in Sheffield. The Decorator will be responsible for performing various painting and decorating tasks, including interior and exterior surface preparation, painting, wallpapering, and applying specialized finishes. The role involves maintaining work quality standards, ensuring precision in colour matching, and adhering to health and safety regulations. The Decorator will frequently collaborate with clients to meet project requirements while ensuring minimal disruption in active environments.
Qualifications- Proficiency in painting, surface preparation, wallpapering, and application of decorative finishes.
- Knowledge in handling exterior and interior decorative tasks such as render surface coatings and airless spray application.
- Strong attention to detail, precision in colour matching, and the ability to deliver high‑quality finishes.
- Understanding and adherence to health and safety regulations, with relevant training being a plus.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate with clients and project coordinators.
- Previous experience in painting and decorating roles; experience with large‑scale or commercial projects is advantageous.
- Flexibility to adapt to a variety of projects and environments, including educational institutions, residential properties, and commercial spaces.
- A valid driver’s licence and the ability to travel to project sites as required.
