We’re looking for a cohort of Disabled, D/deaf and/or Neurodivergent young artists with creative ambition, curiosity and the potential to grow careers in the arts.

EPIC Individuals is a 3 year career development programme designed to support young Disabled, D/deaf and Neurodivergent artists to explore their own personalised pathways towards sustainable arts careers. Through collaboration labs, training opportunities, mentoring, financial support and specialist guidance, participants will develop their skills, make contacts, and bring their creative projects to life. Working together as a cohort, our artists will report back on what they discover, becoming a voice to encourage Disabled-led change in the sector.

We want people who are ready to explore, collaborate and shape their own creative careers, and who will both benefit from and contribute to a supportive community of artists.

The project has been made possible with funding from Youth Music’s Shift The Scene Fund, and supported by their research.

  • You are based in the UK.

Over 3 years participants will receive:

  • Individual career support

  • Masterclasses with industry professionals
  • Access support
  • Connections with leading arts organisations
  • And a participation stipend in recognition of the time they devote to the project
