We’re looking for a Staff‑level Product Engineer (Individual Contributor) with a focus on frontend development to join our small, highly talented team le we have a deliberately flat structure, this is a senior, high‑impact role for an experienced engineer who can take ownership of major parts of our product and technical direction.

You’ll report directly to the CEO, work closely with design and product, and play a key role in shaping the next generation of Gizmo’s learning platform.

You’ll own a slice of the app and iterate fast to build features that delight our users and solve their problems. You’ll be expected to merge to production, review session replays and metrics, then launch new iterations on a daily basis.

• Build, maintain, and own user‑facing features with a focus on performance, usability, and delightful interactions across web and mobile platforms.
• Collaborate closely with designers and product managers to translate Figma designs and product requirements into functional, high‑quality code.
• Contribute across the full stack. While frontend will be your focus, you’ll also work on back‑end services and APIs when needed.
• Own features end‑to‑end, from technical design and implementation to release, iteration, and ongoing improvement.
• Participate in code reviews, technical planning, and team stand‑ups, helping us maintain a high engineering standard.

• You have front‑end development expertise with a solid understanding of full‑stack fundamentals, and you’re comfortable tackling any part of the technology stack.
• You are skilled with React, Type Script and Tailwind.
• Preference (not essential) for proficiency with Postgre
  
  SQL and experience working with APIs and backend logic.
• Driven by impact – you prioritise work that moves the needle.
• Self‑starter with a maker mindset. Ex‑founders or individuals with start‑up experience are highly valued.
• You are a fast learner who’s not afraid of new challenges – you are ambitious and motivated to build something meaningful.
