Location: Remote Type: Full-Time/Part-Time Experience: 3+ years
About the Role:
We are looking for a talented and experienced Word Press Engineer to join our development team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Word Press development, with a focus on creating custom solutions, optimizing website performance, and ensuring seamless user experiences. You will work closely with our design and content teams to build and maintain high-quality Word Press websites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, customize, and maintain Word Press websites using best practices.
- Create custom Word Press themes and plugins as per project requirements.
- Work extensively with Elementor to design and implement responsive layouts.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
- Optimize website performance, including speed and SEO considerations.
- Ensure the compatibility of websites across different browsers and devices.
- Collaborate with the design team to translate UI/UX designs into functional websites.
- Implement and maintain child themes to ensure the safe customization of Word Press themes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve website issues, including security vulnerabilities and bugs.
- Stay updated on the latest Word Press developments and industry trends.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in Word Press development.
- Custom WP Codes: Proficiency in writing custom PHP code for Word Press.
- Elementor: Strong experience with Elementor page builder for custom layouts and designs.
- CSS: Excellent skills in CSS, including responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
- Child Themes: Deep understanding of Word Press child themes and best practices for theme customization.
- HTML & JavaScript: Proficiency in HTML and JavaScript.
- Version Control: Experience with Git for version control.
- Problem-Solving
Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Woo Commerce and other Word Press plugins.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integrating third-party services.
- Knowledge of SEO best practices and website optimization techniques.
- Understanding of accessibility standards and compliance.
- Experience with site migrations and Word Press Multisite setups.
