Automation Test Lead

We are currently hiring for an exciting Automation Test Lead opportunity with a leading global banking client undergoing a large-scale Identity and Access Management (IAM) Transformation Programme
.

This role is part of a strategic multi-year IAM transformation initiative focused on modernizing authentication, authorization, workload identities, and identity lifecycle management across a global enterprise environment.

The successful candidate will lead the design and execution of automation testing strategies for IAM solutions deployed across cloud-native environments, with a strong focus on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), event-driven architectures, and identity orchestration.

• Extensive experience in Identity and Access Management (IAM)
• Strong automation testing expertise using Python and Pytest
• Experience leading automation initiatives and test strategy development
• Experience with SCIM, LDAP, OIDC, REST APIs, and Identity Lifecycle Management
• Strong experience with Kafka, Pub/Sub, Event-Driven Architectures, and Batch Processing
• Hands‑on experience with RBAC, ABAC, ReBAC, and PBAC testing approaches
• Strong experience integrating automated testing with Git Hub and CI/CD pipelines
• Strong cloud testing experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Extensive experience with JIRA and Zephyr (

• Experience with OPA/Rego policies
• Exposure to SailPoint Identity IQ
• Experience with Hashi Corp Vault
• Exposure to SPIFFE/SPIRE
• Experience with Neo4j / GraphDB
• Exposure to Git Ops repositories
• Experience with JMeter, Gatling, Load Runner, or Neo Load
• Knowledge of AI Governance, GenAI testing, and Responsible AI principles
• Exposure to orchestration tools such as n8n

• Define and govern enterprise test strategies and frameworks.
• Lead automation initiatives for IAM and identity orchestration platforms.
• Validate APIs, event-driven workflows, policy-as-code, and cloud-native applications.
• Integrate automation testing into CI/CD pipelines and shift-left practices.
• Collaborate with Cloud Security, Dev Ops, Application Engineering, and Architecture teams.
• Mentor engineers and provide technical leadership across testing initiatives.
