Overview

HGV Class 1 Drivers Wanted in Sheffield! Interaction Recruitment is looking for HGV Class 1 Drivers, HGV Drivers, LGV Class 1 Drivers, LGV Drivers and Class 1 Drivers to work ADHOC shifts (ongoing work provided) for a large, national distribution client in Sheffield (S9). Our client is one of the biggest names within the HGV industry, with the latest vehicles on the market, allowing you to work with a top‑range vehicle.

The client distributes Haribo sweets, Shark appliances/air fryers and Takis brand.

• 12 months UK HGV Class 1 driving experience required.
• Valid HGV 1/C+E licence.
• No more than 6 points on licence, no DD/DR Code convictions.
• Current valid DCPC & tacho cards.
• Knowledge and compliance with driver’s hours and WTD legislation.
• Ability to carry out necessary vehicle checks and report defects correctly.
• Compliance with on‑site health and safety requirements.
• Excellent communication skills.

• Work ADHOC shifts; hours and starting times vary by AM/PM/Weekend slots.
• Deliver cash‑and‑carry, multi‑drop and curtain siders, handle minimal handball and bay work as scheduled.
• Perform vehicle checks and report any defects.

Full‑time temporary contract. Pay rates – PAYE £16.00 to £21.41p/h dependent on shift.
