Grab Wagon Driver / Operator - Sheffield (ASAP Start)

Pay Rate: £21.00 per hour

Hours:

Monday-Friday, 07:30-16:00 (40 hours per week + overtime available)

Contract:

Approx. 3 months (potential extension)

Berry Recruitment is working on behalf of a client to recruit an experienced Grab Wagon Driver / Clamshell Operator for an immediate start in Sheffield. This role is ideal for someone with strong civils, highways or materials‑handling experience who is confident operating grab wagons and managing site movements safely.

• Operating a grab wagon with clamshell attachment
• Transporting materials including stone, concrete, muck and tarmac
• Lifting pallets using straps
• Supporting depot and site teams with material movements
• Completing daily vehicle checks and reporting defects
• Working safely and efficiently within site guidelines

• Valid Grab Wagon licence / operator certification
• Experience using clamshell grab equipment
• Strong understanding of material handling and site safety
• Reliable, punctual and able to work independently
• Immediate availability preferred

• £21.00 per hour
• Monday-Friday daytime hours
• Overtime opportunities

• 3‑month assignment with potential extension
