Senior Bookkeeper London Permanent £38,000 - £42,000 This is an excellent opportunity to join a professional services company which offers a broad range of accountancy services to their clients. Based in Central London, they are looking for a client-facing Senior Bookkeeper who will join a busy team within the firm.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

Sales and Purchase Ledger processing using cloud accounting software (Xero) Regular reconciliations of balance sheet accounts Preparing accounts to TB stage at the year end with supporting reconciliations VAT and month end reporting (including Making Tax Digital submissions) and ensuring the timely filing of VAT returns Highlighting VAT issues to clients to ensure they are compliant with relevant rules and regulations Support clients using cloud accounting software and helping them to transition from their current systems Training of junior staff Ad hoc client queries WHAT YOU WILL HAVE/BE:
Practice background - 3 years experience minimum Xero certified Working knowledge of VAT legislation (including MTD requirements) Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Excellent verbal and written communication skills WHAT YOU WILL GET:
