An established privately owned house builder is seeking an experienced Senior Site Manager to lead the delivery of a 100-unit residential development in Henlow, Bedfordshire.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-respected regional developer known for delivering high-quality homes and maintaining a strong reputation for craftsmanship, customer care and employee retention.

As Senior Site Manager, you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day management of the development from build through to handover, ensuring the project is delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the highest standards. You will lead site teams and subcontractors while maintaining excellent quality control and health & safety standards throughout the build process.

• Oversee the full construction programme on a 100-unit residential scheme
• Manage subcontractors, trades and direct labour on site
• Ensure all works are completed to programme and budget
• Maintain exceptional standards of health & safety
• Drive quality across all stages of the build
• Conduct regular progress meetings and reporting
• Liaise with internal departments including commercial, technical and customer care teams
• Ensure NHBC standards and building regulations are met
• Support successful client handovers and customer satisfaction targets

• Proven experience as a Senior Site Manager within residential house building
• Track record delivering volume housing developments
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Excellent organisational and programme management ability
• NHBC award‑winning experience or high‑quality delivery background desirable
• SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid certificates essential
