Cover Supervisors

Job Description

Teach Agency are currently looking to appoint suitably experienced Cover Supervisors in and around Shefford, Bedfordshire. We currently have a number of roles available to work in local secondary schools.

These roles will be on a day to day supply basis with some roles being on a longer term supply basis.

Your role as a Cover Supervisor will be to oversee Secondary School classes across a number of subjects during short term absences of teaching staff.

You will be expected to manage student behaviour and keep students focused and on task. You should be flexible, have a desire to work with young people and have a calm and authoritative manner.

We are looking for dedicated and flexible Cover Supervisors to cover all classes in a number of secondary schools within the Cambridgeshire region from KS3 through to KS5. You will need to have strong behaviour management skills and be passionate about teaching.

The positions are open to both graduates and experienced cover supervisors. Depending on performance the schools may look at either extending the contract or offering regular work.

• Recent Graduate, with a 2:1 or higher
• Previous experience working in a UK school
• Hold an enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service or be willing to process a new application.
• Be entitled to work in the U.K.
