We provide evening and weekend hours to fit busy schedules, and our friendly, knowledgeable staff is committed to making every appointment welcoming and stress-free.

Monday - Friday

• Candidate must be willing to travel to two locations

Monday: 11:00 AM - 8:00 PM - Shelburne Smile Centre

Tuesday: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM - DDS Collingwood

Wednesday: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM - DDS Collingwood

Thursday: 11:00 AM - 8:00 PM - Shelburne Smile Centre

Friday: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM - Shelburne Smile Centre

The wage for this Dental Assistant position is $27.00-$29.00/hour depending on skills, experience, and location.

• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for procedures, ensuring a clean and safe environment
• Assist dentists and hygienists during treatments, maintaining patient comfort and workflow
• Take dental X-rays and digital images as required
• Perform instrument sterilization and infection control following IPAC standards
• Update patient charts and provide education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
• Support scheduling, patient flow, and administrative tasks
• Collaborate with the dental team to deliver efficient, high-quality care
• Follow all privacy, safety, and regulatory guidelines
• Establish strong patient relationships while maintaining ethical professional behaviour

• Registered and/or Certified as a Dental Assistant with your Provincial regulatory body or association is required
• Previous dental assisting experience is preferred
