Licensed Therapist - St.George

Steps Recovery Center is seeking an energetic and compassionate Therapist to provide individual and group counseling as part of a multidisciplinary treatment team. The Therapist will carry a caseload and provide individualized treatment using multiple therapeutic modalities and evidence-based approaches based on each client's needs and goals.

Requirements Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.

Current professional license or applicable certification.

Experienced SUDC or ASUDC counselors will be considered.

At least 2 years of substance use disorder counseling experience preferred.

Knowledge of counseling theories, therapeutic techniques, psychopathology, and community resources.

Ability to maintain appropriate professional boundaries.

Minimum of 1 year of sobriety.

The Therapist will participate in the development and continued improvement of the clinical curriculum, with support from the treatment team.

We are willing to work with MSW, ACMHC, LCSW, or MFT professionals seeking to complete supervised clinical hours and gain experience in substance use disorder treatment.
