Under the supervision of the Administrator, the Director of Nursing assumes responsibility for the provision of resident care, ensuring compliance with professional standards of nursing practice and state and federal regulations.

• Establish nursing policy and procedures aligned with the facility’s mission.
• Develop and implement new policies and procedures based on identified needs.
• Oversee education, infection control, quality assurance, admission screening, and resource utilization for efficiency.
• Ensure each resident achieves the highest practicable physical, mental, and psychosocial wellbeing.
• Oversee nursing personnel and ensure adequate staffing; determine staffing levels for census, hire, onboarding, and orientation.
• Drive the Quality Assurance Process: conduct routine quality audits, coach staff, develop action plans, and prepare reports for the facility Quality Assurance Meeting.
• Maintain staff accountability for clinical and customer service standards; address non‑compliance with policy, procedure, and standards of practice.
• Maintain accountability for the total functions of the nursing department.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• RN license required.
• Minimum 5 years of clinical management experience in a long‑term care setting.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of state and federal nursing regulations.
• Ability to develop and implement quality improvement initiatives.

Full‑time

$75,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
