TIME Manufacturing Company is seeking a Service Technician that will be responsible for maintaining and repairing heavy equipment, diesel engines, and other automobiles. Your main goal will be to ensure that all equipment is running efficiently and effectively to minimize downtime and maximize productivity. You will be working in a fast‑paced environment, collaborating with other technicians and departments to ensure that all maintenance and repair work is completed on time and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance on heavy equipment, diesel engines, and automobiles.
- Diagnose and repair equipment malfunctions.
- Conduct preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.
- Write routine reports and correspondence to document maintenance and repair work.
- Collaborate with other technicians and departments to ensure on‑time completion of maintenance and repair work to the highest standards.
- Observe safety precautions as required by the Company.
- Use a/and wear all safety equipment as required.
- Report any unsafe acts or equipment discovered while performing duties.
- Clean and maintain work area.
- Perform other related duties as required.
- Extensive diesel and technical experience.
- Experience with diesel motors, valve, and cylinder rebuilding.
- Welding knowledge.
- Skills in using heavy and power tools.
- Entry‑level employment as a Mechanic/Technician.
- Ability to lift and manipulate 50 pounds.
- Ability to use tools as required to perform minor repairs.
- Ability to work in a group or team to repair and maintain equipment.
- Ability to work unsupervised in certain conditions.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment subject to heat, cold, noise, dust, and odors.
- Ability to work shifts as required by the Company.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills.
- Good communication skills.
- Experience operating hand and power tools, soldering and fault‑testing equipment.
