• Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard.
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you complete daily tasks.
• When guests need assistance, engage with them in a welcoming way to help solve their specific needs.
• Make guests aware of current promos, store activities and events.
• Be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services available in the total store to solve issues for the guest and improve their experience.
• Thank guests and let them know you are happy they chose to shop at Target.
• Know and speak to the benefits of Target Loyalty programs and assist with application or sign-up as needed.
• Scan and bag guest items efficiently, accurately and in compliance with food safety standards and company best practices.
• Work efficiently to minimize guest wait time while maintaining guest service and accuracy.
• Understand and show guests how to use features within the Target App, including Wallet.
• Be familiar with Order Pick-Up, Drive Up and online ordering, and know how to direct the guest to enroll, activate and use these features.
• Handle returns following register prompts and partner with Leaders as needed to solve guest issues while following Target policies.
• Maintain a clean, clutter-free work area by gathering unpurchased items, baskets, and hangers for removal.
• Stock supplies during store hours while being available for the guest.
• Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety and compliance. Work safely and report hazards as needed.
• Support guest services such as order pick up (OPU), Drive-up (DU) Orders, DU Returns and maintain compliance with applicable laws (e.g., beverage laws where relevant).
• All other duties based on business needs.

• You thrive in a fast-moving, highly active and physically demanding role, where teamwork, flexibility, and problem solving are key to success.
• You are open to a flexible work schedule with varying hours, days or shifts (including nights, weekends, holidays and other peak shopping times).

• Effective communication and a welcoming attitude toward guests and team members.
• Attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks.
• Willingness to educate guests about products and services.
• Ability to operate handheld scanners and other technology; work independently or with a team.
• Remain focused in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks within time frames.

• Accurately handle checkout operations and cash office support as needed.
• Scan, handle and move merchandise safely, including lifting up to 10 pounds frequently and up to 44 pounds occasionally.
• Flexible work schedule (nights, weekends, holidays) with reliable attendance.
• Ability to remain mobile for the duration of a shift.
• Work in varying temperatures and conditions (e.g., Drive-Up, carryout).
