Job Summary:

Classic Ford - Shelby is seeking an experienced Automotive Service Technician to join our team at our dealership in Shelby, North Carolina. As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for performing maintenance and repairs on a variety of vehicles including cars, trucks, and SUVs. This is a full-time, hourly position in the Auto industry that requires skilled labor and contracting skills.

Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair vehicle malfunctions and issues on a variety of makes and models
  • Perform routine maintenance including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake replacements
  • Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to identify problems and determine appropriate solutions
  • Complete work orders and record all repairs and maintenance performed
  • Communicate with service advisors and customers to provide updates on repair progress and recommendations
  • Follow safety procedures and regulations at all times
  • Keep work area clean and organized
  • Attend training and certification programs as needed to stay updated on latest automotive technology and techniques
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2-3 years of experience as an Automotive Service Technician
  • ASE certification preferred
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of automotive systems and technical expertise
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks
  • Team player with excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technology and procedures
  • Must have own tools and a valid driver's license
