Locum or Locum to Permanent MD/DO OB/GYN
Location:
Shelby, North Carolina Momentum Healthcare Staffing is actively seeking a board-certified or board-eligible OB/GYN (MD/DO) for a locum or locum to permanent opportunity in Shelby, North Carolina. This flexible position allows you to explore a long-term fit while providing quality womens healthcare in a collaborative and well-equipped environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive inpatient and outpatient obstetric and gynecologic care Manage labor and delivery, including cesarean sections and OB emergencies
Perform gynecologic exams and a range of procedures and surgeries
Partner with midwives, nursing staff, and a multidisciplinary medical team
Qualifications:
Board-certified or board-eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology Active North Carolina medical license or ability to obtain
Strong surgical and clinical competencies
Willingness to consider transition from locum to permanent role preferred
Assignment Details:
Competitive compensation for both locum and permanent tracks
Travel and lodging covered during locum period
