Part Time School Counselor – Cleveland County Schools (K‑12, Virtual School, Non‑benefited)

Provide counseling services in a part‑time capacity for our virtual school. The role is non‑benefited and requires a current school counseling license or eligibility for provisional licensure.

• Current license in School Counseling (005) or eligibility as described below.
• Non‑licensed candidates with a Master’s degree (minimum 2.7 GPA) or a Bachelor’s degree with at least 24 semester hours of graduate courses in a School Counseling Master’s program are eligible for provisional licensure.
• Provisional licensure requires completion of an approved School Counseling program at the Master’s level or higher within three years of the effective date of the license and must be established prior to a contract offer.
• Examples of related Master’s degrees:
  Addiction Counseling, Career Counseling, Mental Health Counseling, Clinical Rehabilitation Counseling, College Counseling, Marriage Counseling, Couples Counseling, Family Counseling, Rehabilitation Counseling.

• Master’s degree in School Counseling or related field (minimum GPA 2.7).
• Licensure eligibility or current license.
• Experience in K‑12 school counseling or related setting.
