Advanced Process Controls Engineer – Aerospace Materials

We’re hiring an Advanced Process Controls Engineer to support process design, automation, and production optimization for our aerospace materials manufacturing operations. This is a hands‑on role focused on developing and implementing advanced controls, supporting a new Greenfield facility
, and driving high‑efficiency, high‑quality manufacturing.

• Design and optimize process controls for aerospace manufacturing equipment.
• Troubleshoot and improve production processes across all stages.
• Develop RFQs/SOWs, manage vendors, and oversee equipment installation.
• Lead documentation efforts: SOPs, technical manuals, training materials.
• Support capital projects, cost analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and cross‑functional teams.

• Bachelor’s in Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, Aerospace Engineering, or related field.
• Hands‑on experience with PLCs, HMI/SCADA, automation systems, and process troubleshooting.
• Background in aerospace, advanced materials, or high‑spec manufacturing.
• Experience managing vendors and leading equipment/process projects.
• Strong technical writing, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
• Greenfield experience and Lean/Six Sigma are a plus.
