We’re looking for an experienced sales professional to manage key OEM accounts for Akron Brass and Hale products. The successful candidate will expand sales with existing customers and pursue new opportunities, maximizing revenue and profitability.
Summary ofJob Responsibilities
Responsible for the sale and support of Akron Brass and Hale products and services to specific OEMs in North America for all product lines. The position involves expanding the portfolio with existing customers and seeking new sales opportunities.
EssentialJob Duties & Responsibilities
- Development and execution of strategic account-based business plans.
- Conduct sales activities while meeting administrative responsibilities to exceed sales plans (total sales and new product sales) on a monthly and quarterly basis, monitoring performance through daily, weekly, and monthly reports or scorecards.
- Active involvement in sales meetings and training programs for specific OEM or dealer accounts; acts as a resource for sales personnel in contract negotiations and new proposals.
- Develop marketing plans for specific OEM accounts and track progress of major projects.
- Recognize OEM needs and identify new products and solutions that help grow sales with desired margins.
- Uncover, develop, and co‑manage new specification opportunities to expand presence and share of the apparatus; work closely with Regional Sales Managers to drive specifications and solutions with strategic end users, impacting overall results beyond just OEM results.
- Demonstrate effective account and pipeline opportunity management with the Salesforce CRM tool.
- Assist with planning of sales exhibits, attending sales meetings and trade shows related to OEM accounts.
- Perform other job‑related duties and responsibilities as may be assigned.
- Must have a valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
- Minimum of 5–8 years of sales experience.
- 4‑year degree in business, marketing, engineering, or fire services preferred.
- Related experience in the fire industry is an asset.
- Experience with Salesforce CRM Tool is a plus.
- Knowledge of MS Office suite.
The compensation range for this position is $97,400.00 – $, depending on experience. The position may be eligible for a performance‑based bonus plan.
