Salesperson​/Store Driver Store

Job Overview

Entry‑level Salesperson and Store Driver roles supporting the DIY store. Positions may be part‑time or full‑time and require fleet safety certification.

• Deliver a high‑quality selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal sales goals and help the store reach its sales targets.
• Perform DIY services such as battery installation, testing, and wiper blade installation.
• Maintain store product and operational standards.
• Manage inventory processes including truck put‑away, cycle counts, and back stock.

• Maintain store cleanliness, including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting, and parking lot.
• Perform general stocking, including truck and back stock.
• Safely deliver parts to customers as needed.

• Basic driving and navigation ability.
• Proficiency with the delivery board system.
• Friendly communication and strong relationship building.
• Knowledge of parts location and stocking.
• Safety knowledge and skilled use of inventory systems and store equipment.
• Experience with POS and parts lookup systems.
• Expertise in testing and diagnostic equipment for DIY service.

• Speak and write English;
  Spanish a plus.
• Read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, parts catalogs, and procedure manuals.
• Accurately use basic math in all units of measure.
• Work a mix of days, evenings, and weekends as required.

• 2‑3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment.
• Automotive parts experience preferred for the Driver role.
• Valid driver’s license and fleet safety certification required.

Predominantly walking or standing. Must lift up to 50 lbs routinely and up to 100 lbs occasionally. Requires close vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Mostly indoors; occasional outdoor exposure to weather conditions while installing batteries and wiper blades. Possible exposure to moving mechanical parts, hazardous chemicals, electrical shock, explosives, and vibration. Noise level moderate.

11.80 USD per hour – 12.54 USD per hour.
