Position: SLOT TECHNICIAN

Overview

The Slot Technician is responsible for the repair and maintenance of electronic gaming machines and related gaming equipment. All duties are performed in accordance with departmental and property policies, practices, and procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Adhere to slot department policies and procedures.
  • Maintain the repair, maintenance, and general operating condition of slot machines.
  • Install and remove slot machines efficiently.
  • Perform slot machine conversions, moves, and changes with little or no direct supervision.
  • Safeguard company assets and maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.
  • Foster positive team member relations in a supportive environment and interface with other departments for harmonious working relationships.
  • Maintain a high level of professional appearance, demeanor, ethics, and image of self.
  • Repair and maintain the player tracking system.
  • Set up progressive signs and troubleshoot related issues.
  • Communicate ongoing information, listen to feedback, and role model Caesars standards.
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications (Excel, Word) and knowledge of Slot operating systems.
  • Working knowledge of gaming regulations.
Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED; technical training certificate preferred; some experience working with electronics or mechanical responsibilities; or an equivalent combination of education and/or work experience. Excellent computer skills with knowledge of Word, Excel, and SDS preferred. Strong interactive skills and the ability to work independently required. Ability to work with confidential data required.

Additional Information

Must be at least 21 years of age or older and be able to obtain an Indiana Gaming License. The work environment is highly populated, fast‑paced, and noisy. Access to keys is required to meet position requirements.
