Position located in Shelby County. $1,000 - $2,000 Signing Bonus Depending on License.
Aspire Indiana Health is a nonprofit provider of comprehensive “whole health” services including primary medical care, behavioral health, recovery services and programs addressing the social drivers of health such as housing and employment.
Position SummaryThe License Eligible Therapist - Addictions will utilize a strengths based recovery-focused approach to facilitate addiction and dual diagnosis groups and individual/family therapy services to individuals with substance use disorders in an outpatient setting.
Education/Experience- Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or other mental health related field accredited by the US Department of Education required
- Minimum two (2) years experience in related field required
- Community Mental Health experience highly preferred
- Must have excellent diagnostic and treatment planning skills; knowledge of substance use disorders treatment
- Knowledge of social service systems, community resources, legal systems, and child welfare systems highly preferred
- Must have a temporary license to practice or;
- Be recognized as a Licensed Social Worker (LSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate (LMHCA) or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate (LMFTA) by the State of Indiana
- Recognized as a Licensed Clinical Addictions Counselor (LCAC) preferred
- Must be working towards full licensure (LCSW, LMFT, LMHC)
