Overview

JOB SUMMARY AND SPECIFICATIONS JOB SUMMARY Represents Major Hospital as the initial contact for any/all Patient Access Services including but not limited to: registration/admission of patients, identify uninsured patient and communicate with Med Assist when appropriate, answers and transfers incoming calls, internal and external paging, order entry, and customer service support to the hospital in registration functions. This position may float to various registration sites within the health system.

• Represent Major Hospital as the initial contact for Patient Access Services, including registration/admission of patients, identifying uninsured patients and communicating with Med Assist when appropriate, answering and transferring incoming calls, internal and external paging, order entry, and customer service support to the hospital in registration functions. This position may float to various registration sites within the health system.
