JOB SUMMARY AND SPECIFICATIONS JOB SUMMARYThe LPN is responsible for administering nursing care to patients via the nursing process; assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating. The nurse also instructs patients and significant others in health care practices, working in collaboration with other health team members.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSProfessional & Technical Skills
Experience gained through an approved School of Nursing plus an appropriate period of hospital orientation to the assigned patient care area and to personnel.
Education
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
License(s) or Certification(s)
Must possess a current Indiana license as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
Other Skills or Requirements
Ability to type 30 wpm with 6 errors or less.
