About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented CAD Technician to join our design team. The candidate will be responsible for creating final production documents for equipment & systems used in the crushing, screening and processing of aggregates.

Key Responsibilities
  • Detail custom conveying equipment, crushing and screening plants.
  • Create detail & general arrangement drawings using CAD for fabrication & erection.
  • Provide drafting support for multiple projects, assisting project managers in meeting deadlines & project goals.
  • Collaborate with the project team to translate design concepts into detailed plans & 3D models.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Formal education/training in drafting using 2D and/or 3D CAD software.
    • Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
    • Additional industry-specific training or certification a plus.
  • Thorough understanding of:
    • AutoCAD and Inventor CAD system (Vault).
    • Hydraulic schematics and piping layouts.
  • Proven experience working with aggregate processing equipment & bulk material handling systems is highly desirable.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Motivated self-starter.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Willing to travel to job sites (drive or fly) as needed with occasional overnight stays.

Physical Requirements (ADA-Compliant)
  • Ability to understand, receive, and respond to verbal and written instructions.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with team members, customers, and vendors in person, by phone, and through digital channels.
  • Ability to remain in a stationary position (sitting or standing) for extended periods while working at a computer or desk.
  • Ability to use hands and fingers to operate a computer, keyboard, phone, and standard office equipment.
  • Ability to read and review written documents, digital files, and technical information; corrective lenses may be used.
  • Ability to move throughout the office, including accessing files, attending meetings, and interacting with various departments.
  • Ability to occasionally lift and carry office materials or equipment up to 20 lbs.
  • Ability to work in an environment with typical office noise levels (phones, printers, conversation).
Safety Compliance Requirements
  • Must follow all PMI workplace and safety policies applicable to office environments.
  • Must maintain confidentiality of sensitive company information.
  • Employment may be contingent upon successfully passing post-offer screenings required for certain positions (e.g., background checks, credit check, motor vehicle records).
