Overview
This HR Assistant will support HR and Operations by coordinating new hire onboarding, tracking and following up on training and compliance requirements, and serving as a central point of contact for temporary staffing agency coordination. This role ensures all required documentation is completed, filed, and maintained; supports new hire orientation and day‑on logistics; reviews and submits temporary employee timecards; and helps verify staffing agency invoices.
The HR Assistant also provides administrative support for HR programs and assists with employee relations and engagement activities to promote a positive workplace.
- 1–3 years of experience in HR, training coordination, staffing coordination, or office administration (manufacturing/plant environment preferred).
- High School Diploma or GED required. Associate’s degree or HR Certificate or coursework preferred.
- Experience coordinating training and/or onboarding at a plant site preferred.
- Experience working with staffing agencies (timecards, invoicing, documentation) preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams; comfort working in HRIS/ATS/timekeeping systems.
- May require occasional early start/extended hours to support orientations, training sessions or events.
- Excellent verbal and written communication; strong customer service mindset.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.

- Spanish fluency (verbal and written) is a plus.
