Secondary Operator
Join voestalpine Roll Forming Corporation as a Secondary Operator. We are seeking team members who enjoy machine operations and an industrial setting. Do you love working with your hands? We are hiring and excited to meet you! We need operators for our saws, bending machines and other production equipment to help us start up our new plant.
PayBase pay range: $20.50/hr – $23.25/hr (3‑year rate). Shift premium applies. Secondary II starts at $21.50/hr – $24.25/hr.

Shifts:
2nd Shift – 3:00 PM – 1:30 AM, Monday – Thursday.
Perform a variety of tasks, including operating saws, benders, and other production equipment to meet customer requirements as specified by work orders, blueprints, and part diagrams. More experienced operators may perform independent setup following orientation and initial training.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities- May set up tools, dies, and equipment, and make adjustments in dies and equipment used in producing product.
- Use computer software to produce tickets and labels.
- Operate equipment using efficient procedures to ensure meeting production standards and use necessary measuring tools to ensure required quality standards are met.
- Keep all required records and maintain a clean work area.
- Follow all verbal and written instructions pertaining to the operation of dies and equipment as well as any other jobs assigned.
- May require assistance of a lead person to make necessary adjustments to dies, machinery and equipment.
- Perform the following processes: press set‑ups and operation, buffing, packing, bending, deburring, sawing, sorting, reworking, helping other operators, operating of forklift and/or crane, loading and unloading parts from lines or machines.
- One-to-three months related experience, including manufacturing or similar environment as parts loader/unloader, machine operator and/or part inspector.
- Computer skills required: knowledge of manufacturing software and ability to learn new programs.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and 75 lbs as needed.
- Ability to work shift assigned and overtime as needed.
- Preferred experience includes consistent experience in manufacturing performing machine set‑up, part inspections and blueprint reading.
