Process Technician
Job DescriptionAs a Process Technician, you will work closely with engineering and production teams to implement new product launches on the production floor and develop solutions for existing process issues. Your role will involve hands‑on technical support, performing tool tryouts, and assisting operators with technical problem‑solving.
Responsibilities- Provide process operations support with hands‑on troubleshooting and development.
- Assist in process optimization to improve efficiency.
- Analyze data to enhance process tool and process quality.
- Verify manufacturing standards and conduct process capability studies.
- Assist the Maintenance Team with repeat machine problems.
- Implement continuous improvement and cost‑reduction projects.
- Research and conduct trials on supplies to improve cost and quality.
- Investigate and coordinate tooling improvements, repairs, and replacements.
- Monitor Standard Tooling Inventories to ensure adequate quantities.
- Facilitate initial manufacturing review of setup books and coordinate updates.
- Program BLM tube lasers, 5 Axis lasers, and support manufacturing with laser issues.
- Program material handling and welding robots.
- Provide technical support and problem‑solving expertise to manufacturing.

- Experience in metal forming or metal processing
- CNC programming and operation
Skills & Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 2 years of experience as a process technician
- Understanding of metal forming or fabrication
The work environment is an air‑conditioned facility with a culture focused on employee engagement through monthly cookouts and events. The role offers opportunities for growth and promotion within a growing department. The work schedule includes weekend days, Friday through Sunday, from 6 AM to 6 PM. Employees have the chance to apply for other roles and shifts as they become available, with pay raises after a 6‑month evaluation.

Contract to Hire position based out of Shelbyville, KY.
Pay And BenefitsPay range: $26.00 – $30.50/hr.
